Jul. 2024 - Received first high-profile review of his work 'Vizinhancas', created together with visual artist Marcelo Amorim and the Arriere Garde Agency, at the Residencia Fonte atelier the previous year. David's soundtrack has been reviewed by one of South America's most prominent contemporary art magazines, Revista Select. His soundtrack and composition has been described as 'flourishing... intensely vigorous... accompanying the visuals to new heights.'

Jun. 2024 - Premiered final work at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, 'Diptych: R-reality', an audio-visual amalgamation of two universes colliding. The work revolves around symbols of sleep and dreams, both fundamentals of the human condition. Containing pre-recorded electronics fused with a large chamber ensemble, the work constantly shifts between timbres and sound worlds. For this work, David received a First Class Honours to conclude his Bachelor's Degree in Composition at the Conservatoire. The work was conducted by the Trinity Laban Sir Charles Mackerras Conducting fellow Vicente Chavarria. Vicente also assisted Vladimir Ashkenazy and served with the RCM Opera, among other projects.
Dec. 2023 - Premiered choral work 'Maria' together with Goldsmiths Choral Union at the Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Square.
Special attendance by the Romanian ambassador, Mrs. Laura Popescu.
Jul. 2023 - Artist in Residence at Residencia Fonte Atelier, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Premiered orchestral work 'Genesis' at Canteiro Exhibition Space, in collaboration with Head artists of Residencia Fonte Atelier. Premiere of audiovisual concert 'Vizinhancas', highlighting the multi-faceted form of colonialism endured by Brazilian society and the difficulties in undoing its effects & re-gaining national identity.
Dec. 2022 - Apr. 2023 – Composed soundtrack for Brazilian designer and artist Marcelo Amorim's latest VR art exhibition,
'Dreams of Male Power: A Fabrication Narrative', curated by Arriere-Garde Art
Jun. 2022 – Hosted the Recital 'A Summer's Modernist Venture' at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, having had two compositions premiered, namely the Prepared piano piece 'A Recent Venture Into Wonderous Minds' (performed by Stefan Weidner), and the 'Zakkarpatia' String Quartet (based off the Ukrainian song 'A Moonlit Night' and premiered by the Hirvi Quartet).
Apr. 2022 – La Musique d’Ambeublement, performing with the Apollo Consort, The Peacock Room, Greenwhich.
Mar. 2022 – Concert for Ukraine, Harmony Place Café.






Dec. 2021 – Hosted the Recital 'No Frontiers: A Fusion of Romanian Culture and the World' at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, and had four compositions performed, including the piano-vocal duets 'Fantasia Frustrata' and 'Idiome Latine' the 'Re-Adjustments: Fragments of the Past' vocal duet and the premiere of the 'Fata Morgana' Quartet, a partly improvised work written for piano, violin, recorder and classical guitar.

Education:
Graduated with First Class Honours from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, on Composition/Performance BMus. Current Masters student of Vocal Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
Graduated Ashbourne College on a full Music Scholarship, with Music, History, Drama and English Literature A Levels: A, A, A, A* respectively. Was shortlisted as an exemplar student of the college.
